Exchange & Returns
Would you rather exchange for another product?
It may of course happen that, on reflection, you would have preferred that other piece of jewelry. No problem, you can always exchange it!
To guarantee the quality of our jewelry, we impose a few conditions:
- the item must be genuine, authentic and in new condition, sonot worn!
- the original purchase receipt and certificate must be present
- not valid on personalized and/or customized items
- Please contact us within 14 days of receipt if you would like to exchange the item
- the item must then be returnedwithin 14 days*
- all conditions are tested by our own experts
- All communication for exchanges takes place via the contact form , so that no misunderstandings can arise
- Only applies to an online purchase
Returning orders from EU countries
What now? Please contact us as soon as possible via the contact form and indicate the following points:
- Please report within 14 days which item you want to exchange (after this you have another 14 days to return the item*)
- for which item you want to exchange it
- the model numbers, this starts with a capital letter and is followed by four numbers
- your name
- the purchase date
* If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged more than is necessary to sell the product, we can pass on this reduction in the value of the product to you. So handle the product with care and ensure that it is properly packaged when returned.
After you have completed the contact form, you will receive an email from us with tips and instructions on how to return your purchase. When your piece of jewelry is returned to us, our expert will check whether it is still in its original condition, and your purchase receipt and any certificates will also be checked. If this is not the case, we will contact you by email. The item then remains your property and we will send it back to you.
Is everything all right? You will then receive a confirmation email from us and you can order the jewelry of your preference online.
- When you order an item that is more expensive than your previous item, you will immediately receive a discount code in the confirmation email - based on the value of your returned item - that you can use during checkout on the payment page. This is how we settle your exchanged item
- Is the item you order cheaper than the item you want to exchange? We will then give you instructions in the confirmation email for the order of your new choice and we will refund the difference
Do you think this is all too much hassle, and do you have the opportunity to come by? Then you are of course very welcome in our store at Muntplein 1 , 1017 CK in Amsterdam. Your jewelry will be checked on site and immediately deducted from your new purchase. Please don't forget to bring the original packaging, receipt and certificate !
And are you still nearby? Then immediately take a walk along the canals, visit Dam Square or sit on a terrace on Rembrandtplein!

Returns of orders from non-EU countries above €150
If you want to return goods from outside the EU, please contact info@diamondsandjewels.nl. The return label and commercial invoice will be sent by email.
When you receive the return label, please follow these steps:
1. Print the return label you received from Onlinetaxfree.com and attach it to the package.
2. Print the commercial invoices you received from Onlinetaxfree.com in your mailbox.
3. Include a copy of the commercial invoice in your package.
4. Attach the second copy of the commercial invoice to your package. Please include a copy of the commercial invoice in your package with the packing slip.
5. Place the second copy of the commercial invoice on your package next to your shipping label.
6. Take your package to a UPS point.
Refund policy for non-EU countries with orders above €150
Onlinetaxfree.com takes care of the VAT refund process for Diamonds & Jewels Amsterdam. If you return or refuse your order within 30 days, you will not be eligible for a VAT refund.
Diamonds & Jewels Amsterdam will refund the order amount minus the costs of the return label.
The non-EU customer can reclaim the VAT by contacting: customerservice@onlinetaxfree.com.
